1 Gallon Grow Challenge Week 1

82 Challengers Compete For The 1 Gallon Grow Crown

How’s it growing, my family, and welcome to the 1st 1 Gallon Grow Challenge, where home growers compete in a 1 gallon grow bag for a cash prize, FREE seeds, and other great merchandise from our sponsors.

If you want in, you’re too late! But that doesn’t mean you can’t take part in being nosey. Will doors open again? Yes! When? To be announced. You can watch or read the entire journey on this blog, so be sure to subscribe at the end to stay up to date on everything 1 gallon.

So what is the 1 Gallon Grow Challenge?

    1 Gallon Grow

Home Growers from around the US buy (3) 1 gallon grow bags from Native Sun Genetics. Native Sun Genetics gifts three beans which can be male or female. You might say, Why would someone want to grow Males? Thats the fun part, more on that in a second.

Each challenger will start on the same day, and the challenge will last 12 weeks.
    • 3 weeks for veg time
    • 9 weeks to flower
All challengers must grow in the one-gallon bag NSG Club provides or no dice. Each bag has an authentic code to match our records, so those cheatn a$ suckas can’t pull a fast one.

The challenger grabs three bags and gets 3 FREE beans. If the challenger pops the beans and receives a male, it looks like dat a$ is down to 2 plants. Right? Si

Now from 2 plants, you end up with one female. My friend…that’s all you need to win the challenge.

Yep, one female for the final round. If you end up with three females, you can only use one female as your finalist. If you end up with three males, you are out of the challenge.

It sucks, I know, but it’s a game and a challenge, my friend.

So how do you pick a winner? Great question. Viewers like you will get a chance to vote on each challenger’s pics. As you continue to watch the challenge, we will fill you in on where and how to vote.

    1 Gallon Grow Challenge Voting

    1 Gallon Grow

    • Size – You will vote on the size, even tho size doesn’t matter, but it will gain points.
    • Color – Making sure the challenger expresses the true characteristic of the gene.
    • Grow Presentation – How well did the challenger grow the flower: Burns, lack of food, etc.
After the voting is complete, a program will tally the votes and choose a winner for 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place.

Who will make it to the end? Well, you will need to watch each week.

In the description, there’s a link for you to sign up and get notified on the next challenge or share the links with someone who would be interested in whopping A$.

Almost everyone has their seedlings planted, and things are looking good. You might notice some have more bags than others. Yep, we give challengers options to buy more bags and upgrade their chances of winning.

    Even Better

We had eight people give up their extra bags to someone who couldn’t afford to pay. So Dope!
